Griffin is now five years old, just a couple of months away from being six.  Where does the time go?

He is now a big Kindergartener, and loves school.  He is an excellent reader and is now reading whole books.  Another smart Marriner boy!

Griffin keeps himself just as busy as his big brother these days.  He is in his second season on the Fulton Speed Demons swim team, and his best stroke is the backstroke.  He still thinks he's going to make States this year, but Mom is trying to convince him that he should plan on it for next year instead.  :)

He has also started taking piano lessons.  He loves music and spends a good deal of his free time at our keyboard or at our new (to us) piano.  He also enjoys playing the harmonica and has said he wants to take guitar lessons.  He's definitely the musician of the family!

And to top it all off, Grffin is now a Cub Scout.  He has been waiting (im)patiently for a long time, and is finally old enough!  The best part (depending on one's perspective) is that Mom is his den leader!
